Baoding in China 3 Baoding is a prefecture-level city in Hebei province, China. It is situated about 150 kilometres (93 mi) southwest of Beijing. At the 2010 census, Baoding had a population of 11,194,372 inhabitants and is the 13th most populous city in China.
