Huili in China 2 Huili is a county-level city in the southwest of Sichuan Province, China. It is under the administration of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is the only county-level city in Liangshan. Huili is located in the western part of Sichuan Province, about 200 kilometers away from Chengdu, the provincial capital. It is bordered by Yanyuan County to the east, Huidong County to the south, Ningnan County to the west, and Mianning County to the north. The city covers an area of 1,764 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 500,000 people. The city is home to the Yi, Tibetan, and Miao ethnic groups.
