Huozhou in China Huozhou is a county-level city in Shanxi Province, China. It is located in the south of the province, and is bordered by Linfen City to the north, Jincheng City to the east, Yuncheng City to the south, and Jiaocheng County to the west. It has an area of 1,818 square kilometers and a population of around 600,000 people. The city is known for its coal reserves, which account for a large portion of the city"s economy. The city is also home to several historical sites, including the ancient city of Huozhou, which dates back to the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC).
