It is one of the smallest primate species in the world, with a body length of only about 9-10 centimeters and a weight of around 30 grams. Berthe"s mouse lemur is nocturnal and primarily feeds on insects, fruits, and flowers. It is named after the French primatologist Berthe Rakotosamimanana.
