Morelladon 2 Morelladon was a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period. It belonged to a group of dinosaurs known as iguanodonts, which were characterized by their beak-like mouths and large thumb spikes. Morelladon had a long, stiff tail that helped it balance while walking on two legs. This dinosaur likely fed on low-lying vegetation and may have traveled in herds for protection against predators. Its fossil remains have been found in Spain, where it roamed the ancient floodplains and forests millions of years ago.
