Mullerornis 2 The Mullerornis was a large, flightless bird native to Madagascar. It belonged to the extinct family of elephant birds, which were known for their enormous size. The Mullerornis was one of the largest species of elephant birds, standing over 10 feet tall and weighing up to 1,000 pounds. It had a long neck, powerful legs, and a beak that was used to forage for food. Unfortunately, like many other species of elephant birds, the Mullerornis became extinct due to human activities and habitat loss.
