Napaisaurus 3 Napaisaurus is a genus of herbivorous sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period (around 155 million years ago) in what is now the Xinjiang province of northwestern China. It was a large animal, estimated to have been up to 20 meters (65 feet) long and weighing around 20 tonnes. It was a member of the Titanosauria, a group of sauropods characterized by their large size and long necks. Napaisaurus is known from fragmentary remains, including several vertebrae, a few ribs, and a few pieces of limb bones.
