Uteodon aphanoecetes 1 Uteodon aphanoecetes is a species of dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period. It was a herbivorous dinosaur and belonged to the family of Camptosauridae. Its fossils have been found in the Morrison Formation in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The species was first described in 2008. The name "Uteodon" refers to the Ute people, Native Americans from the region where the dinosaur was found, and "aphanoecetes" means "invisible". This dinosaur is known from a single partial skeleton, which includes vertebrae, a pelvis, and a hind limb.
