general grievous 7 General Grievous is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is a cyborg Supreme Commander of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. He was originally a Kaleesh warlord named Qymaen jai Sheelal who was cybernetically enhanced by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Grievous is known for his ruthlessness and cunning, as well as his skill in lightsaber combat. He wields a pair of lightsabers and is capable of wielding four at once. He is also able to use Force powers, though he is not Force-sensitive. He is eventually killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Revenge of the Sith.
