The Terror-TV series 4 The Terror is an American horror-drama anthology television series based on the 2007 novel of the same name by Dan Simmons. The series premiered on March 25, 2018, on AMC. The first season, set in 1847, follows a Royal Naval expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage who are attacked by a mysterious predator, a cunning and vicious Gothic horror. The second season, set in Japan in the early 1900s, follows a series of bizarre deaths of village locals that may be connected to a ghostly woman. The third season, set in the United States during World War II, follows a Japanese-American community in California who are sent to an internment camp and face the terrors of living in a world that is suddenly filled with prejudice and fear.
