Diana unknowingly wishes for her deceased love, Steve Trevor, to return, and he miraculously comes back to life. As Diana and Steve reunite, they must confront the consequences of their wishes and stop Maxwell Lord from using the Dreamstone"s power to gain control over the world. Along the way, Diana also faces her friend-turned-enemy, Barbara Minerva, who transforms into the powerful Cheetah.
