Phylloporia ribis Phylloporia ribis, commonly known as the red-belted polypore, is a species of polypore fungus in the family Fomitopsidaceae. It is found in North America and Europe, growing on dead conifer wood. The fruit body is a fan-shaped or semicircular bracket up to 10 cm (4 in) wide, with a reddish-brown upper surface and a white to pale yellow pore surface. The spore print is white.
