It is a small species of snail, reaching a maximum size of about 4 mm in diameter. Its shell is white in color and has a thick, glossy periostracum. The shell has a conical shape and is composed of five to six whorls. The aperture is oval and the columella is curved. The species is found in shallow waters, usually on sandy or muddy substrates.
