Prasmodon almasolisae Prasmodon almasolisae is a species of parasitic flatworm belonging to the family Diplostomidae. It was first described in 2019 by researchers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The species is found in the Balkan region, specifically in the Danube and Sava rivers in Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a small flatworm, measuring up to 1.3 mm in length. It is characterized by its yellowish-brown body and a single ventral sucker. It is a hermaphroditic species, meaning that individuals have both male and female reproductive organs.
