Fedorovskaya Mother of God In the Russian Orthodox Church, the Fedorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God (, Fedorovskaya ikona Bozhiei Materi) is a copy of the Vladimirskaya Icon of the Mother of God. The original icon was brought to the village of Fedorovka in the Oryol Governorate in 1764. It was placed in a wooden church dedicated to the Nativity of the Mother of God. The icon was attributed with numerous miracles. In 1812, the icon was taken to Moscow, and in 1813 it was returned to Fedorovka. In 1891, the wooden church was replaced with a stone one.
