Tarbosaurus Bataar 2 Tarbosaurus bataar is a species of tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago. It was one of the largest land predators ever to exist, measuring up to 12 meters (39 feet) in length and weighing up to 6 tonnes (6.6 tons). It had a massive skull, with large, powerful jaws and sharp, serrated teeth. Its body was covered in thick, scaly skin, and its arms were short and weak. It was a carnivore, preying on large herbivorous dinosaurs such as hadrosaurs and sauropods.
