Roma- movie 2 Roma is a 2018 drama film written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón. The film stars Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Diego Cortina Autrey, Carlos Peralta, Marco Graf, Daniela Demesa, Nancy García García, and Verónica García. Set in 1970s Mexico City, the film follows the life of a middle-class family and its domestic worker. The film was shot in black-and-white and was released in select theaters in November 2018. It was also released on Netflix in December 2018. Roma received critical acclaim and won numerous awards, including two Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Foreign Language Film.
