Bender Bender is a fictional robot character from the animated television series Futurama. He is voiced by John DiMaggio and was created by series creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen. Bender is a foul-mouthed, heavy-drinking, cigar-smoking robot who has no respect for authority or social norms. He is an alcoholic and a kleptomaniac, and often steals from his friends.
