Fox is an ace pilot, having inherited his skills from his father, James McCloud. He is also a skilled fighter, able to hold his own against the toughest of opponents. Fox is brave, loyal, and always puts the safety of his team first. He is also a bit of a hot-head, and often gets into arguments with his teammates. Despite his flaws, Fox is an admirable leader and a hero to the people of the Lylat system.
