Gollum is a small, slimy creature who lives in the Misty Mountains. He is characterized by his deep, raspy voice and his tendency to speak in the third person. Gollum was originally a hobbit named Sméagol, but the corruption of the Ring of Power transformed him over the course of hundreds of years into a twisted, morally ambiguous creature.
