Elektra is an anti-heroine, a morally ambiguous character whose violent nature and mercenary lifestyle divide her into the categories of both protagonist and antagonist. She has been portrayed as a love interest of the superhero Daredevil, and has also been a member of the X-Men, the Thunderbolts, and the Hand.
