It is the second spin-off installment in the Assassin"s Creed series, and a direct sequel to the 2011 game Assassin"s Creed: Revelations. The game follows the series" standard open world gameplay in the years leading up to the American Revolution, and follows the half-English, half-African Assassin Aveline de Grandpré as she fights against the oppressive forces of the Spanish Empire in Louisiana. The game also features a multiplayer component, which allows players to compete against each other in a variety of game modes.
