Carnivle-TV series 5 Carnivàle is an American television series set in the United States during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl. The series follows the lives of two disparate groups: a traveling carnival, and a group of people living in a small town in Oklahoma. The show was created by Daniel Knauf and ran for two seasons on HBO from 2003 to 2005. The show won several awards, including a Peabody Award and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.
