general grievous 3 General Grievous was a Kaleesh cyborg general of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. He was originally a Kaleesh warrior named Qymaen jai Sheelal, but was transformed into a cyborg by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Grievous was trained in the ways of the dark side of the Force by Count Dooku, and was given command of the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars. He was known for his ruthlessness and efficiency in battle, and was feared by the Jedi Order for his skill in lightsaber combat. He was eventually killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Utapau.
