Pella jelineki 1 Pella Jelinek is a Danish-American artist, sculptor, and photographer. She is known for her work in the fields of sculpture, photography, and installation art. Jelinek was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and moved to the United States in the early 1990s. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1996. Jelinek’s sculptures are often made from found objects and materials such as wood, metal, and fabric. Her work often explores themes of identity, memory, and place. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Artforum, and Art in America.
