general grievous 2 General Grievous is a major antagonist in the Star Wars franchise. He is a Kaleesh cyborg general of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. He was originally a Kaleesh warrior named Qymaen jai Sheelal, but was transformed into a cyborg by the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus. Grievous was trained in the ways of the Sith and became a powerful warrior, leading the Separatist Droid Army in the Clone Wars. He was also a master of lightsaber combat, wielding four lightsabers at once. Grievous was eventually killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Utapau.
