Pseudacteon tubiceroides Pseudacteon tubiceroides is a species of parasitoid fly in the family Phoridae. It is native to the Neotropical region, where it is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. It is a parasitoid of ants in the genus Camponotus, and it is one of the most commonly encountered parasitoid species in the region. The larvae of the fly feed on the hemolymph of the ant host, eventually killing it. The adults are black in color and measure approximately 1.5 mm in length.
