Holy Trinity Church,Sutton Coldfield Holy Trinity Church is a Grade II* listed Anglican church in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, England. It is situated in the centre of the town, on the junction of High Street and Trinity Hill. The church is a member of the Church of England and part of the Diocese of Birmingham. The church was built in the late 15th century, with the tower being added in the 16th century. It was extensively renovated in the 19th century, with the addition of a south aisle and a north transept. The building is constructed of red sandstone and has a slate roof. The church is noted for its stained glass windows, which include work by the Victorian stained glass artist Charles Eamer Kempe. The windows depict a variety of religious scenes, including the Crucifixion, the Ascension and the Nativity. The church is also home to a number of memorials, including one to the poet and playwright William Congreve, who was born in the parish in 1670. The churchyard contains a number of war graves, including those of two World War I soldiers.
