Cabaret- movie 3 "Cabaret" is a 1972 American musical drama film directed by Bob Fosse, starring Liza Minnelli, Michael York, and Joel Grey. The film is set in Berlin during the Weimar Republic in 1931, under the presence of the growing Nazi Party. As of now, there is no third installment or sequel to the original "Cabaret" film. The movie is based on a Broadway musical of the same name, which itself is based on Christopher Isherwood"s semi-autobiographical novel "Goodbye to Berlin". The film was a major success, winning eight Academy Awards. If there were to be a "Cabaret 3", it would likely continue to explore the themes of the original, such as the rise of fascism, the decadence of the era, and the struggles of its characters. However, no such film has been announced or produced.
