Reverend Seraphim of Vyritsky was born on April 24, 1866 in Moscow, Russia. He was an Orthodox Christian priest and a leader of the Russian Orthodox Church. Reverend Seraphim was educated at the Moscow Theological Academy and later at the St. Petersburg Theological Academy. He was ordained a priest in 1890 and served as a parish priest in the Moscow Diocese for many years. He was a strong advocate of the Orthodox faith and was a vocal opponent of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. In 1921, Reverend Seraphim was appointed the Archbishop of Vyritsky, a position he held until his death in 1935. During his tenure, he was a tireless advocate for the Orthodox faith and worked to strengthen the ties between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian people. He was also a staunch defender of the rights of the Russian people and was an outspoken critic of the Soviet government. Reverend Seraphim was an influential figure in the Russian Orthodox Church and was respected for his strong commitment to the faith and his dedication to the Church. He was known for his humility and his willingness to serve the Church and its people. He is remembered as a great spiritual leader and a defender of the Orthodox faith.
